I am always searching internet for quick and easy recipes and recently found this easy recipe of Chocolate and Banana Frozen Yogurt on youtube. It has just 5 ingredients and all are usually available in your kitchen. So I thought why don’t I give it a try.
2 frozen medium (2 cups/280g) bananas
2 Tablespoons Honey
¼ cup (60g) Strained yogurt
⅓ cup (40g) Cocoa powder
2 tsp Vanilla extract
-Add the frozen bananas, honey, yogurt, cocoa powder and vanilla extract into a blender/food processor.
-Blend it until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left.
-Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 6-8 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 1 month.
As the holy month of Ramadan is round the corner, I want to share very easy no bake healthy date balls recipe.
Dates 250 gm
Butter 50 gm
Cardamom 1 tsp
Grated Coconut 1 cup
Heat 50 gm butter in the pan then add in 250 gm dates, 5-6 chopped almonds and 1 tsp cardamom in it. Cook it till all the ingredients are well combined. Make small balls out of the mixture. Roll the date balls in the grated coconut and serve.
I occasionally cook on weekends. So recently I’ve found this very sweet and super easy sweet samosa recipe and it turn out to be super delicious.
3 dozen Samosa patti or samosa wraps – easily available at any Sweet Shop
Wheat flour – 2 tablespoon
Water – as required
Oil for frying
Dates seeded 500gm
Almonds finely chopped 1/4 cup
2 cups freshly grated coconut
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Cardamom powder – a tiny pinch
Put all ingredients of filling in a bowl and mix it well with spoon. Make flour paste by adding wheat flour and water, consistency should be thin, keep aside. Take one samosa wrap and make a pocket at one end. Fill it with this mixture and seal the third (top) edge by applying a flour paste in it. Fill the rest of the samosas by same…
